Love is in the air (and an enforced blogging break)

And so the wedding bunting is complete:

It's for my step-sister whose getting married at the end of May. Just one of the 5 weddings we've been invited to this year! I kept it really simple, stuck to her colour scheme and resisted the urge to throw in random flowery or polka dot fabrics... had I been making it for me I would have gone for a much more scrappy, vintage-y feel but she's much more chic. I love it though, especially seeing it hanging in the garden. The bride-to-be is very pleased with it, phew!

In other news, our little household was struck down - we've had man-flu, woman-flu, baby-flu and our computer went and got a virus as well.... Is just now back from the techie man, all clean and healthy. I must say, it was quite nice to have an enforced break from The Internet but also very nice to be back! I've got a few projects on the go, photos to follow, and I'm also starting the Crescent skirt sew-along. Who's with me?! The pattern arrived in the post the other day, just how lovely is this packaging:

There's something so lovely about a ribboned, gift-wrapped package arriving, just for you, when it's not EVEN your birthday!
